Today (Sep 7) is a special day for dozens of proud South Americans in Phuket, and thousands more in the rest of the kingdom. For it’s Dia da Independência, or Sete de Setembro – for those of you whose Brazilian Portuguese is rusty, that’s Independence Day and Seventh of September, respectively.
